Whether you need a small 3 panel brochure designed, a 500 page book, or just a letterhead and business card, we can help.

Our designs are produced using the latest versions of software, such as Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe GoLive on blazing fast Power Macs. And we are constantly upgrading to assure that our designs are completed to the highest standards.

And once we've finished your piece, you can leave it to us to get it printed to your exact specifications using your own commercial printer or ours.

Though there may be some distance between our facilities, you can consider us as close as the office next door. Soft proofs sent directly to you through e-mail allow you to see design ideas the same day they were created! And, if you'd like we'll send you a supply of prepaid overnight mailing envelopes to make our working together that much easier.

Take a look at our Design Value Package. This design package is the starting point of your web site design. As you will see from the list of what is included in this package, it is very generous, and may be all you need to establish a dynamic presence on the web! Following this listing are prices for additional pages and a list of any add-ons your site may need to create the web presence you desire.

Web Site Design Value Package: $3,000

Here is what you get:

  • Domain name search and registration.
    Don’t have a domain name yet (yourcompany.com)? No problem, just tell us what you would like your domain name to be, we will look it up for you, and see if it’s available. Then, when you decide what you’d like it to be, we will register for you! Domain name registration is done through Internic. Internic will bill you directly the $70 fee for the first 2 years, and $35 each year thereafter. Therefore, after registering your domain name, keeping it registered becomes your responsibility.
  • A complete web site design which includes a home page, and 20 additional linked pages!
  • Design of a masthead for your home page.
  • The flow structure (or site map). This is the grand plan of how all the pages in the site link together.
  • Design of all navigational tools: bars, buttons, and placeholders.
  • Scanning and/or placement of up to 50 graphics or photographs, provided by you in print, hard-copy, or digital form.
  • Formatting of all text you provide in digital form up to 10,000 words.
  • Typing and formatting of up to five (letter-sized) pages of text from hard-copy.
  • Initialization and set up of up to three non-custom programming features added to your site, not to include any type of e-commerce programming features.
  • Links to other web sites.
  • 12 Months of FREE maintenance.
    Grand Design will provide you with reasonable technical support and assistance to maintain your web site on the internet during the warranty period of twelve months from the date of your web site’s completion at no additional cost to you! Such assistance will not exceed six hours per calendar month. After the expiration of the warranty period, you may purchase additional technical support and assistance to maintain the web site on the internet for an annual fee of $250 per year.

    Maintenance is considered the basic care needed to keep the site up and running, such as configuring e-mails and making sure all the programming is working. Such maintenance will include correcting any errors or any failure of the web site to conform to the specifications originally outlined. Maintenance shall not include the development of enhancements to the original parameters outlined in the project. Such enhancements will be contracted separately.

Additional web site pages: $125 each

Each additional page—as long as it does not deviate too far from the original overall design established with the home page and first twenty pages in the design value package will include:

  • The design of the page.
  • Scanning and or placement of up to three graphics or photographs provided by you in either digital or reflective art form.
  • Formatting of all text you provide up to 1,000 words.
  • Typing and formatting of up to one (letter-sized) page of text from hard copy.
  • Linking to other pages in the site.
  • Links to other web sites.

Add-ons

In most cases, the design value package will be more than enough to accomplish a dynamic web site presence for you. However, should you desire additional design or functionality, these are considered add-ons and will be contracted separately on a per-case basis.

  • Design and creation of custom graphics, such as logos and banners that are in addition to the masthead and navigational tools created in the design value package.
  • Scanning and placement of graphics or photographs from negatives or transparencies (slides).
  • Custom photo image-editing or retouching.
  • Formatting of text beyond the 10,000 words included in the design value package or the 1,000 words per page included with any additional pages purchased.
  • Typing and formatting beyond the five (letter-sized) pages included in the basic package and the one page included with any additional pages purchased.
  • Initialization and set up of any additional non-custom programming features beyond the three included in the basic package.
  • Initialization and set up of any e-commerce programming features or functions.
  • Custom programming.
  • Custom photography or photo shoots.
  • Illustrations.
  • Animation.
  • Video.
  • Custom copy writing.
  • Anything not specifically listed in the design value package or the additional pages pricing.

Updates

As opposed to maintenance, updates refers to keeping the web site up to date, timely, and interesting for people to visit. This is more of an involvement in the marketing aspect of your site. Adding new products, new promotions, and keeping the content fresh to keep people coming back. Updates can be negotiated separately and are contracted for a certain amount of hours per month. Any additional hours are billed at a set hourly rate. The amount of Grand Design’s involvement in keeping the web site up-to-date and fresh is based on the needs and desires you may have for your web site. If Grand Design is responsible for updating the site, you will need to supply us with the information, graphics, etc. on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as the case may be.

We want to see you accomplish the goals you have set for your web site, and would be happy to work with you in keeping the content on your site always fresh and new. The only way to keep people coming back to your site time and again is by keeping the content fresh. By contracting with us for updates, we can be there to help you with this.

When you contract with us for updates, it is not necessary to have a separate maintenance contract past the 6 month warranty period. Updates contracts include maintenance.

Submission to Search Engines and Directories: $250

We will submit your web site to 10 search engines and 30 directories, plus any specialized directories that are applicable to your web site’s content.
